Zeal Ablaze: Zellzo makes a touchdown to art scene and Web3
Carlo Fuego, most recognizable as Zellzo, is a 25-year-old graphic artist and freelance architect hailing from Davao. His ambition is to uplift more artists to keep exploring their talents and bridge them to Web3. He hopes that the name ‘Zellzo’ will be associated with his clean, youthful, and versatile style of art. He is currently making steps toward these goals by working on commissions, Solana projects, collections, and continuous research to further develop his works.
At the age of 7, he was introduced to painting when he asked his parents to send him to a summer workshop. His first occasion of drawing for people is when he drew illustrations for the exams his mother made. He eventually accepted commissions from classmates. 3 years after his painting summer workshop, he took another workshop for graphic design. Just recently, he started using an art tablet for his works.
Zellzo acknowledges that his present skill in the arts is a culmination of his tireless efforts to make his art better. He took every chance to explore and work on his art that at some point, every single one of the posters for events in his schools were made by him. As of present, he considers his art style as a marriage of graphic design and illustration. This is seen in his creation of two Shojins and his energetic rendition of Kusho World #1.
“Sa simula lang mahirap lahat, mahirap simulan pero matatapos naman”. Art is hard to start, but the journey and the output in sight really pays off. He applies this principle of art in his real life endeavors such as studies, small tasks, and the like. This mindset, which he garnered from his art journey, helped him get to where he is now, and will someday allow him to begin his own movement to reach and help more people.
